Craig from http://psychics.co.uk argues the case for spiritualism and mediumship with the skeptical scientist Richard Dawkins. These are the uncut rushes from the program that reveal a completely different debate than was originally shown on the heavily edited final version of the program. I am personally saddened that they also cut the demonstration of mediumship at Camberley Spiritualist Church and that the highly evidential demonstration of mediumship was never shown. It contains interviews with top scientists in the field of consciousness highlighting that the scientific world is finally waking up to the fact that there is more to our universe than what we can see hear and touch. Our five senses only allow us to percieve a very small sample of the total information that is actually available. Louise's story is similar to Jonas' which is why we recommend this documentary so highly. Jonas Elrod was leading an ordinary life until he woke up one day to a totally new reality. Precognitive Aversion
At an earlier PA Convention, I reported on a phenomenon called “Precognitive Habituation” (PH) (Bem,2003). The PH effect is a psi variation of a well-known psychological phenomenon, the habituation of arousal to an affectively arousing stimulus that occurs after repeated exposures to that stimulus. For example, in one habituation experiment, participants subliminally exposed to extremely positive and extremely negative words subsequently rated those words as less extreme than words to which they had not been exposed: Negative words were rated less negatively and positive words were rated less positively (Dijksterhuis & Smith, 2002)
